Voice WP vs Wix
Voice WP or Wix?
Both help you get a website without writing code. They work very differently, and the right one depends on what you want to own and how you like to work.
About Wix
What it is.
Wix is a popular all-in-one website builder. You design in Wix's own editor, and your site is hosted by Wix.
At a glance
How they differ.
| Question | Wix | Voice WP |
|---|---|---|
| Where your site lives | On Wix's platform | On your own WordPress and hosting |
| How you build | Drag and drop in their editor, with some AI help | You talk or type; pages are built for you as drafts |
| Moving away later | Your site is tied to their platform | Your WordPress site stays yours and can move to any host |
| Staying in control | You make every change yourself | Drafts first, your yes before risky actions, undo for changes to pages, styles and custom code |
| Best for | People who want one tool with hosting included and enjoy designing visually | People who want WordPress and a site built for them by conversation |

- You would rather say what you want than learn an editor
- You want to be free to change host later
Where Voice WP is different
What you get with Voice WP.
You own the site
It is your WordPress, on your hosting. Disconnect Voice WP and everything stays exactly where it is.
Built by conversation
You describe your business and what you want visitors to do. Voice WP proposes layouts chosen for it and builds the pages.
Guard rails by design
Everything is a draft until you say publish, and changes to your pages, styles and custom code can be undone.
