Lets the Voice WP builder read and edit your site over a secure connection, so you can build and change your site by talking to it.

== Description ==

Voice WP Connector adds a private, key-protected endpoint to your site that the Voice WP builder service uses to create and edit pages, menus, styles and settings, and to manage plugins and themes on your behalf.

* Nothing is reachable without the connection key you generate under Settings > Voice WP.
* The key is shown once and only a hash is stored. You can replace or disconnect it at any time.
* The builder acts as the administrator who generated the key; WordPress permission checks still apply to every action.
* A list of recent actions (tool name and time only) is shown on the Voice WP settings screen.
* Failed key attempts are rate limited.

This plugin works with the Voice WP service, which is a separate paid subscription. The plugin itself is free.

= What the connection can do =

Create, edit, patch and delete pages and posts; upload media from a URL; edit custom CSS; update a short list of safe site settings; manage navigation menus; and list, install, activate, deactivate and delete plugins and themes. It cannot deactivate or delete itself.

= External services =

In release builds with updates enabled, the plugin checks the Voice WP update server (at most every 12 hours) for a newer version. Updates are installed only if their checksum and digital signature verify. Otherwise the plugin makes no outbound requests on its own. When the builder asks it to install a plugin or theme, WordPress downloads it from wordpress.org, and when asked to add media from a URL it downloads that URL.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install it from the Plugins screen, and activate it.
2. Go to Settings > Voice WP and click "Generate connection key".
3. Copy the key (shown once) and your site endpoint into the Voice WP builder.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Is it safe to leave connected? =

Anyone with the key can act as the administrator who generated it, so treat it like a password. Use "Disconnect" to revoke it.

= My host blocks the Authorization header =

The connection also accepts the key in an `X-VoiceWP-Key` header.

== Changelog ==

= 0.1.7 =
* Voice WP's new address: one-click connect accepts approvals from voicewp.birimiansolutions.com as well as the original address.

= 0.1.6 =
* Blog pages in your site's design: the builder can design the blog listing page and the single post page with the same header and footer as the rest of the site. You keep writing posts in WordPress as usual. Changes can be undone, and scripts are not allowed in these templates.
* Reuse your photos: the builder can see the images already in your media library (size, format and file weight) and reuse them. Heavy ones get a small, optimised copy; your original is never changed.
* Faster images: uploads now report their size and the smaller copies WordPress made, so pages can load the right size on every screen.

= 0.1.5 =
* Contact forms: the Send button can match the site's colour, with text that is always readable (the text colour is chosen automatically if the one asked for would be hard to read).

= 0.1.4 =
* Results (off until you agree): counts of page views, phone taps, email clicks, enquiries sent, and booking and buy clicks, so you can see whether the site is doing its job. No cookies, no addresses and no personal details are stored, visitors who send Do Not Track are not counted, and you can see and delete the numbers under Settings > Voice WP.
* Contact forms that really send: with Fluent Forms installed, the builder can create a contact form that emails every enquiry to the site owner (from an address on the site's own domain, with Reply-To set to the visitor) and saves every enquiry in WordPress. It briefly switches on Fluent Forms' own agent interface for the moment it needs it and then puts the setting back.
* A test-email tool, so the owner can confirm that the site's email really arrives.

= 0.1.3 =
* Site code: styles, small page scripts and header or footer tags the builder saves now belong to the site, not the theme, so they stay when you change theme. They can be undone, have size limits, and are checked before they are saved (no PHP, no network requests, nothing loaded from other websites without your approval).
* Settings > Voice WP now shows how much site code is saved and has a button to remove all of it.
* The builder no longer overwrites your own Additional CSS: it keeps its styles separately.

= 0.1.2 =
* Private draft previews: the builder can show a draft page before it is published (signed links that expire after 30 minutes, never indexed).
* Optional full-page template that shows only the page content, without the theme header and footer.
* Undo: restore a page, or the site CSS, to the version before the last change.
* One-click connect: approve the connection from Settings > Voice WP instead of copying a key.
* Block themes: the menu tool also updates the theme navigation block.

= 0.1.1 =
* Updates are now refused (instead of skipped) when a package from the update server cannot be verified.

= 0.1.0 =
* First release.
